What Will We Be Doing?
CDSRobotics is an Exploratory/Club for Middle Schoolers at Carolina Day that will be emphasizing creative literacies based on programming, coding, hacking and robot building.
Here's what we'll be doing in our Exploratory in a nutshell:
- Building and Programming Lego Mindstorm NXT Robots
- Hacking Roombas
- Basic HTML, CSS, PHP and Java Website Programming and Design Fundamentals
- Arduino Robot Building
- Creating Flash Games
- Modding XBOX and Minecraft
- Apple iOS App Development
Basically, we'll be exploring robots and digital authoring and evaluating how these programs, games and technologies impact our lives as humans both now and in the future.
It will be hard work, but we'll definitely have fun and learn a few things.
